Happy Birthday Eve

Today is Eve's birthday! We had a bar-b-que this morning in our backyard along with about 23 other people. We grilled chicken, vegetables, hot dogs N had chips, pasta salad, fruit salad, iced tea, cake N ice cream. Eve has been talking about the animals she saw at the Bronx Zoo ever since we went there a few weeks ago, hence the "zoo animal cake." I had a gum ball machine, which was a big hit 4 the kids. Eve liked the balloons N opening presents. Well at least until she got stuck on one present, which she insisted must B opened immediately N could not B convinced 2 open her remaining presents. Oh well, whats a mom 2 do? It's her birthday. :)

Marilyn, that cake is too cute! I am sure it was a hit with Eve. Be sure and tell her "Happy Birthday" from Grandmother Barnhart and give her a big hug and kiss from me!

An official Happy Birthday to Eve! You did good with the cake Marilyn. Sorry, you got no tips from me when you sent that e-mail the other day - it turned out very cute! Welcome to the age and stage of "TWO"! ~Jenn

Are those animal crackers around the edge of the cake? Looks yummy and cute, but not as cute as Eve. ;-)

Eve, your mommy made you a nice cake and the bunk beds your daddy made are sure nifty! Was that your birthday present from your Daddy and Mommy?
We love you!
